A good gate quote starts with accurate site data. Here is what our engineering team asks for before fabrication.
Opening width and post centres
Measure the clear opening and the distance between the two supporting posts. The leaf is made 10–20 mm narrower than the opening for swing clearance.
Swing or slide
Swing gates need clearance arcs on both sides; slide gates need run-off space along the fence line. Pick the type before we cut steel.
Gate height and clearances
Standard heights run 1.2–1.8 m. Tell us the height and any ground slope so the bottom rail clears the surface.
Pickets, bars and spacing
Specify bar profile (square, flat, round), spacing for local safety codes, and any decorative pattern or European-style carving.
Material and finish
Q235 steel is our workhorse; 304/316 stainless or aluminum are available for upgraded options. Choose primer plus powder, or galvanize plus powder for coastal sites.
Hardware and automation
Confirm hinges, latch, drop bolt and whether you need automation-ready posts. We build the frame to match your operator.
Drawings and samples
Send a DWG, PDF or photos. A measured drawing lets us return a firm quote and a prototype plan without a site visit.
